Jesus in Disguise
Another video post here before the end of the year. One of the things I discovered while writing Red Letters is that Jesus is often found in the most unexpected places--and almost always amidst the poor and brokenhearted. That's the topic of this video post--maybe the last in 2007!

Thanks for the message, Tom! God's Word is always timely, always appreciated, and as often as we allow it to be, motivating and captivating.

Good stuff, Tom. I don't mean to be a downer, but what happens when you are serving people, meeting felt needs, and you know that there is still something missing? What happens when you get burnt out from all of the giving? I've been invigorated by radically spending myself on behalf of the poor, but I've also lost heart at times or seen people receive the gifts, food, whatever as just a physical thing and not understand the spiritual aspect, failing to realize that God himself is providing for them. What then?
